Change One-Save One (CoSo) is a multi-discipline organization with a goal to suppress, intervene, prevent and overall reduce gang activity by offering alternative programs and services. CoSo is under the leadership of Daphne White, Chief Executive Officer, and the Board of Directors. The organization is focused on being gang-proactive by providing programs and services to the at-risk youth, their families and communities. CoSo research shows that the lack of structure and opportunities available to at-risk youth less than 22 years of age is beginning of these youth to seek a replacement for the missing elements of their lives. CoSo has developed a model to address the concerns:

CoSo is addressing the gang problems through a partnership with local schools, church based organizations, and recreational programs with both short-range and long-range to begin a suppression and abatement strategy. This includes segments of the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative which embraces programs coordinated by the department of Education, Department of Health and Human services and the Department of Justice.
